Marble Sort Level 438 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 438 Board Overview: The Locked Bubble Tray

Level 438 is the block-grid variant of Marble Sort. The top half of the screen is a packed tray of colored bricks, and your job is to clear them so the marbles underneath drop onto a curved conveyor that carries them down into the four receiver columns waiting at the bottom. Clear the right bricks and the board feeds itself; clear the wrong ones and the belt chokes before a single column fills.
The tray opens crowded with a broad mix of colors — Green, Purple, Pink, Orange, Red, Blue and Cyan, Dark Gray, and Yellow are all present, layered into the stacks. Several bricks show a special bubble or locked texture, which means they need extra work before they release the marble behind them. A rainbow wildcard sits at the ready to cover any color you are short on.
The real target is the four receiver columns below. Every marble that reaches a column stacks there until it is full, and the trick is to feed each color in the order the columns can actually accept it. From the opening grid, the safe colors — the ones that appear in runs and have an open column almost immediately — are Green, Purple, and the Blues. Everything else is bait until the columns rotate toward it.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 438
The board is rigged to make you clear faster than you can sort. Here is the layout:
- Locked bubble bricks bury the useful colors: several marbles sit behind special textured bricks that take extra clears to break. They stall the feed and force you to spend moves on the same spot twice.
- Only a few colors have open columns at the start: Green, Purple, and the Blues are the early targets. Orange, Red, Dark Gray, Yellow, and Pink are scattered through the grid with nowhere to go until their columns cycle forward.
- A single rainbow wildcard: it will clear or feed any color, which makes it the most valuable piece on the board — waste it on a lone marble early and the midgame funnel jams.
- The grid empties faster than the columns absorb: it is tempting to keep clearing bricks, but if the conveyor keeps feeding colors no column wants, the belt jams and the level stalls.
Marble Sort Level 438 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Discipline beats speed. Follow the release order.
Opening: feed the safe colors first

- Look at the four receiver columns and identify which colors are open at the front. Feed those first — Green, Purple, and the Blues appear in runs early, so start with whichever of them has an open column.
- Clear the visible Green and Purple bricks straight into their columns. These are the safest drops on the opening tray.
- Take the Blue and Cyan runs next; they ride the conveyor in batches, so a full matching group fills a column in a single pass.
- Do not chase Orange, Red, Dark Gray, Yellow, or Pink yet. They may be reachable, but none of them has an open column at this stage.
- Leave the locked bubble bricks alone for now. Spend your early clears on plain bricks that release a marble you can actually place.
Midgame: break through the locked bricks
Once the first columns start to fill, the conveyor frees up and the receiver columns rotate toward new colors. This is the moment to attack the special bricks, because the colors hiding behind them finally have homes.
- Target the locked bubble bricks one at a time. Break them cleanly, then immediately feed the marble they release so you do not leave an orphan parked on the belt.
- Keep an eye on which columns are close to full. A nearly-empty column cycling into the front row is your invitation to clear a matching color buried deeper in the tray.
- As Orange, Red, and Yellow columns open, start peeling those bricks off the tray. They sit mid-stack, so each clear usually exposes another useful marble underneath.
- When the conveyor starts running mixed colors, only tap a marble whose color has a column at the front. If its column is full or still at the back, let it ride past.
- Prioritize bricks that sit above two matching marbles in a row — clearing one frees a chain and empties a whole section of the tray.
Cleanup: spend the wildcard and feed the stragglers
With the grid mostly clear, the level becomes a straight finishing line. The board thins down to scattered single marbles, the conveyor keeps running toward the last columns, and the receiver columns still need their final colors.
- Save the rainbow wildcard for a marble whose color has no column open — use it once, in the late game, rather than early.
- Play only to the active front columns from here. Every remaining marble is a single waiting for its column to slide forward, so let the queue cycle.
- Do not clear bricks faster than the columns can accept the result. If the belt is backed up with colors whose columns are full, stop clearing and let the queue move.
- Finish the final columns as the stragglers drop. The last Greens, Purples, and Blues feed as their columns open, and the level completes the moment the final column fills.

Level 438 Tips Recap
- Feed only colors with an open column — Green, Purple, and the Blues open the level; Orange, Red, and Yellow are bait until the midgame.
- Attack the locked bubble bricks only when the color behind them has a home, and feed the released marble immediately.
- Bank the single rainbow wildcard for the late game, when a color has no open column.
- In the cleanup, stop clearing if the conveyor jams — let the columns catch up, then feed the last stragglers.
