Marble Sort Level 224 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 224 Board Overview: The Crate-Sealed Grid

Level 224 is a Hard board, and it does not play on a classic marble tray. Instead of stacked trays feeding a belt, the level opens on a 5x5 grid of tile slots: square colored blocks sit in the cells, a delivery track below the grid feeds new objects into play, and four receiver columns at the bottom take the finished colors in a set order per column.
The center of the grid is sealed from the first frame. A big wooden crate sits in the middle of the board, and two locked padlock tiles sit directly beneath it — the center of the grid is a dead zone until those locks clear. Four blue tiles marked with a “3” sit at the top-left, top-right, mid-left and mid-right of the grid, and grey ”?” mystery tiles hide cells on the right edge.
The visible grid holds a mix of colored blocks — orange, red, blue, purple, yellow, pink and green — and a few of the purple, pink and blue ones start locked, so they cannot be moved or matched until their locks are dealt with. The queue track below restocks in batches: pink spheres, then white spheres, then green spheres, then a blue block group and a purple block group.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 224
The board is rigged to make you grab everything in reach and jam your delivery track. Here is the layout:
- The center crate seals the middle: the wooden crate sits dead center with locked tiles beneath it. You cannot route anything through the middle of the grid until those are cleared, so every early move has to hug the outer ring.
- ”?” mystery tiles hide the right edge: grey mystery tiles cover the top-right and mid-right cells. You cannot plan around what is underneath — every reveal is a gamble, and a bad reveal backs up the queue.
- Several blocks start locked: purple, pink and blue blocks carry lock icons. Locked blocks cannot be moved or matched, and they sit in the middle of the board where they are hardest to ignore.
- Each receiver column has its own order: the four bottom columns each ask for a sequence of colors. Mid-game the requests run Yellow, Purple, Orange, Cyan on the left and Purple, Green, Purple, Orange on the right — a color that is hot in one column may be dead in another.
Marble Sort Level 224 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Discipline beats speed on this board. Follow the release order.
Opening: clear the outer ring

- Start with the unlocked blocks on the outer ring of the grid — the orange, red and yellow blocks near the edges are your only fully safe drops.
- Feed each color only into a receiver column that is currently asking for it; never drop a tile just because it is reachable.
- Bank the blue “3” markers as soon as a matching column is live — each one pays three tiles at once, so they clear grid space fast.
- Leave the locked purple, pink and blue blocks alone until their locks clear; forcing them early jams the queue.
- Reveal the ”?” mystery tiles on the right edge only when the queue is mostly empty. If the reveal matches a live column, feed it; if not, leave the cell and come back.
Midgame: unlock the center and feed by column
By the middle of the solve the grid has thinned out and the receiver columns are cycling through their orders — Yellow, Purple, Orange and Cyan on the left, with Green and Pink rotating in on the right. The queue keeps delivering pink, white and green spheres plus blue and purple block groups.
- Clear the tiles around the crate the moment the padlocks release — opening the middle of the grid doubles your usable space.
- Match the purple blocks in runs. Purple is requested in three of the four columns, so it is the workhorse color of the midgame.
- Feed green in batches. The queue restocks a large group of green spheres at once, so wait for several greens before filling a green slot.
- Keep each delivery pass to one column’s request order rather than grabbing every matching color in reach.
- Time the blue block group against a column that still needs blue — blue appears in fewer requests, so do not waste it on a full column.
- If the queue is backed up, stop revealing ”?” cells and play only live colors until the track drains.
Cleanup: finish the final columns
The end of the level is a nearly empty 5x5 grid — only a handful of light blue bricks remain on the board, with confetti marking the last big match. The four receiver columns just need their final deliveries.
- Play only to the active front request of each receiver column.
- Deliver the last light blue bricks into whichever column is still open.
- Let the queue cycle the final objects home; the level completes the moment the last slot fills.

Level 224 Tips Recap
- The center crate and its locked tiles make the middle of the grid a dead zone — work the outer ring and the edges first.
- Only feed a color when one of the four receiver columns is actually asking for it; each column has its own order.
- Bank the blue “3” markers early — each one pays three tiles into whichever column is front and center.
- Reveal ”?” mystery tiles only when the queue is clear, so a bad reveal never backs up the delivery track.
