Marble Sort Level 340 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 340 Board Overview: The Numbered-Tile Grid

Marble Sort level 340 opening board — The Numbered-Tile Grid

Level 340 plays on the tile/block-grid variant, and the opening tray is stacked wall to wall. Blue “3” numbered tiles ride the tops of several columns, with a lone yellow “9” tile above one of the central stacks. Below them, brown X-crates brace the middle columns, while gray ”?” mystery boxes and key/lock tiles fill the band between the numbered tops and the real marble piles.

The visible marble colors are a small, honest set: Green, Red, Yellow, White, and Orange sit in the lower halves of the columns, with more hidden behind the crates and mystery tiles. The bottom receiver conveyor fronts two Orange Boxes and two Pink Boxes at the start, and behind them wait Green, Blue, Red, White, and Yellow requests plus a pair of lock-gated slots.

Everything else — the exact inventory behind the ”?” tiles, the color under each crate, and the keyed receivers — is information the level withholds until you clear the obstacles. That withholding is the whole game.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 340

  • Mystery ”?” boxes hide the inventory: you cannot plan the top of the board until you tap it, so every early reveal is a gamble. Drop only what matches an open Box.
  • X-crates split the tray: the brown crates brace the middle columns and seal the marbles beneath them, cutting the board into left and right halves until they break.
  • Lock tiles gate the receivers: several Boxes on the conveyor show key icons and stay closed until their key tile comes down from the top tray. Feed a locked Box and the marble has nowhere to go.
  • The conveyor jam: the mid-solve state shows the belt clogged with nine Oranges behind a single Blue — one overfed color stalls the entire line and burns the move counter.

Marble Sort Level 340 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Reveal the board before you commit to it. Follow the release order.

Opening: feed the front row

  1. Start with the Orange marbles in the lower columns — the front Boxes ask for Orange first.
  2. Follow with Pink: clear the two front-row Pink Boxes as Pink reveals from the ”?” tiles.
  3. Leave the numbered “3” and “9” tiles on their stacks until the marbles beneath them are exposed.
  4. Peel the ”?” mystery boxes from the columns you need; drop whatever matches an open Box and skip anything that does not.
  5. Do not start Yellow, White, or Green — their receivers are still several slots back on the conveyor.

Midgame: break the crates, feed the rotation

By mid-solve the front row has rotated: Red and Green Boxes have filled, and the conveyor is asking for Cyan, Orange, and Blue while key-locked slots wait for their keys. The belt is already stuffed with Oranges, so this phase is about clearing space, not adding to it.

  1. Feed Red and Green as their Boxes cycle forward — both cluster in the lower columns.
  2. Break the mid-board X-crates to reconnect the left and right halves of the tray; each crate frees the marbles stacked beneath it.
  3. When a key-locked receiver slides to the front, grab the matching key tile from the top tray before feeding it — otherwise the drop has nowhere to go.
  4. Feed Orange only while an Orange Box is front and center; the nine-Orange belt from the midgame shows exactly how one color jams the line.
  5. Take the Cyan Box when it fronts — Cyan arrives in runs, so a full batch clears it fast.
  6. Leave the ”?” receivers alone until their key tiles surface.

Cleanup: the last tiles

The end of the video catches the board mid-solve: the tray is down to a few Blue and Purple blocks, the receivers are mostly filled, and a stream of Blue and Green tiles is still riding the conveyor.

  1. Work the remaining Blue tiles into the Blue receivers as they reach the front.
  2. Clear the Purple stacks last — they only finish once their receiver is exposed.
  3. Keep the belt to one active color at a time and let the conveyor pull the final Blue and Green stragglers into their Boxes.

Level 340 Tips Recap

  • The front row is Orange and Pink: feed those first, and treat Yellow, White, Green, Blue, and Purple as bait until their receivers rotate forward.
  • Clear the ”?” boxes and break the X-crates to see the real inventory — but only drop colors with an active Box.
  • Never flood the belt with one color: the midgame’s nine-Orange jam stalls the whole line.
  • Save key tiles for the lock-gated receivers and finish with the last Blue and Green stragglers on the conveyor.
