Marble Sort Level 266 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 266 Board Overview: Crates Over the Left Columns

Level 266 opens with five columns draining into a V-shaped funnel. The two left columns are the problem: each is capped by a numbered crate block that seals what sits underneath — a White over a textured Red in the first, and a White over a Dark Green in the second. A green x2 tile is anchored at the base of the first column, so clears made through that side of the board pay double.
The three right columns are full, open stacks of four marbles each. Reading left to right they are Red/Dark Blue/Orange/Light Blue, Pink/Orange/Yellow/Dark Green, and Pink/Light Blue/Purple/Orange. The receiver boxes at the bottom start by asking for Green, Purple, Light Blue, and Orange, and the conveyor belt below the funnel is already carrying a few marbles toward them.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 266
- Crates seal the left side. Both left columns start under crate blocks labeled “2.” Until each crate is cleared, the White, Red, and Dark Green underneath are unreachable.
- White is bait. The two Whites are buried beneath the crates and no receiver asks for White early — do not tunnel for them while the right side still has work.
- The funnel commits you. Marbles drop through the funnel onto a one-way conveyor belt. A bad release rides toward the boxes with no way back, so only pull a color whose receiver is actually open.
- Dark Green and Yellow lurk. Each appears once in the right stacks with no early home; leave them seated until their boxes cycle to the front.
Marble Sort Level 266 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Opening: clear the open right columns

- Tap the Light Blue at the base of the third column into the Light Blue receiver.
- Tap the Orange at the base of the fifth column into the Orange receiver.
- With the bottom of the fifth column open, tap the Purple above it into the Purple receiver.
- Return to the third column and drop the Orange now exposed at its base into the Orange receiver.
- Clear the Light Blue that surfaces next in the fifth column.
- Feed any Green that rides in on the belt into the Green receiver.
- Leave the Pinks, Dark Green, Dark Blue, and Reds alone for now — none of their boxes are in the front row yet.
Midgame: crack the crates
Once the first receiver row clears, the boxes cycle and the crates finally come into play. Each crate is labeled “2” and takes two clears before the marbles beneath are freed.
- Work one crate at a time — fully crack it before starting the other, and its label drops to 0.
- Release the Dark Green from the freed column as soon as its box appears; let the White sit until a receiver asks for it.
- Move to the second crate, spend two clears on it, and free its White and textured Red.
- The x2 tile under the first column doubles anything cleared through that side — favor it once it opens.
- Feed Red and Yellow as their boxes cycle in, but never let one color monopolize the belt.
Cleanup: ride the belt home
The board winds down mid-solve, with Blues, Reds, and Purples still in the tray and a final crate ticking down.
- Play strictly to the active front row from here. Feed Purple and Blue whenever their boxes sit live.
- Finish the last crate’s clears to release the marbles still locked underneath.
- Keep one color moving at a time so the funnel and belt never back up.
- Let the receivers pull the stragglers down as the tray empties.

Level 266 Tips Recap
- Start on the right: Orange, Light Blue, and Purple have boxes from the first move.
- The crates take two clears each — save them for the midgame, and use the x2 column once it opens.
- Never chase White early; no box asks for it until the board has cycled.
- The funnel belt is one-way — only release a color whose receiver is live, and never clog the belt with a single color.
