Level 145 Board Overview: The Locked Box and the Green Stream

Level 145 plays differently from the crate-heavy boards around it. There are no wooden crates and no mystery tiles this time — instead, the level is built around a single special element: a key sitting in the tray, and a receiver Box at the bottom that stays locked until that key reaches it. Everything else is a straightforward sorting race against the conveyor.

The opening mix is dominated by Green. The front row of receiver Boxes asks for Green in several spots, and the conveyor feeds a steady stream of Green from the very first moment. Blue, Purple, White, and Pink fill out the columns above the tray, with Green stacked at the base of nearly every column. Blue and Orange are the colors you will be chasing in the endgame, so they matter far less in the opening minutes.

The trap of the level is timing: the locked Box blocks one of your four receiver slots, and the conveyor never stops. If you spend the early game dumping random colors onto the belt, the queue jams before the key is even reachable.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 145

Level 145 is rigged to punish greedy tapping. The layout:

• The locked Box: one receiver slot is sealed with a lock icon and will not accept anything until you drag the key from the tray to it. Until it opens, that color has nowhere to go — treat it as a dead slot.
• The key tile: a silver key rests on a tile in the grid. It is not a marble: you cannot sort it into a Box. Reach it and deliver it to the lock before its color starts stacking up on the conveyor.
• The Green flood: the conveyor opens with a run of Green, and Green sits at the base of almost every column. It looks like the whole board is Green — and for the first few taps, it basically is. Overfeed it and the queue backs up.
• One-slot colors: Purple, White, and Pink each appear with limited Box space early. Tapping them before their Box cycles forward strands them on your belt with no destination.

The board wants you to clear whatever is closest. Do that and the belt jams before the first row of Boxes clears. Instead, work Green aggressively, keep an eye on the key, and leave one-slot colors alone until their Boxes come around.

Green first, key second, everything else on rotation. Follow the release order.

Opening: surf the Green stream

1. Tap the Green marbles at the base of the tray columns first. Several Green Boxes sit in the front row, so every Green you release has a home.
2. Keep feeding Greens as the conveyor drops them in. The front row of Green Boxes will clear fast — that is the point of the opening.
3. When a column opens up, check what is underneath before tapping: Blue, Purple, White, and Pink are all in the mix, but only Blue has steady Box coverage early.
4. Leave Purple, White, and Pink alone unless their Box is sitting in the front row. They have one-slot coverage at best.
5. Watch the key tile as the tray empties. It is your single most important pickup on the board.

Midgame: unlock and clear the mid colors

Once the early Greens clear, the tray opens up and the key becomes reachable. This is the phase that decides the level.

6. Reach the key and deliver it to the locked Box. Opening it unblocks that receiver slot for the rest of the run.
7. Immediately feed the color the unlocked Box asks for — it has been waiting since the start and its marbles are stacked on the conveyor by now.
8. Now cycle the mid colors: Blue, Purple, and White. Feed each only when its Box is in the front row.
9. Use the conveyor queue to plan ahead. If the next three marbles are all one color, make sure a Box for it is active before you start a chain.
10. Avoid dumping a color onto the belt “for later.” With the queue already carrying early Greens and the unlock color, there is no spare room.

Cleanup: the Blue and Orange finish

The endgame narrows to two colors: Blue and Orange dominate whatever is left in the tray, the queue, and the staging area above the conveyor.

11. Feed Blue whenever a Blue Box is active — it is the most common color left and clears quickly.
12. Match the Orange that rides in on the conveyor. It comes in small bursts; feed each burst as it arrives rather than letting them pool.
13. Play only to the active front row from here. Let the last stragglers of any other color wait until their Box cycles forward.
14. Finish by feeding the final Blue and Orange marbles in pairs, and the remaining Boxes pull the last few marbles down on their own.
