Level 190 Board Overview: The Mystery-Capped Grid

Marble Sort level 190 opening board — The Mystery-Capped Grid

Level 190 is a Very Hard board in the block variant: a seven-column grid of stacked tiles sitting above a conveyor queue. The opening board is deceptive because you cannot see most of it. Columns 1, 2, 5, and 6 are capped by grey ’?’ mystery tiles, columns 3 and 4 carry numbered ‘3’ markers instead, and a pair of large multi-tile blocks hangs across the middle of the right side. The only fully visible tiles at the start are scattered singles: Light Blue and Yellow near the tops of the left columns, and Green and Red sitting in the lower rows.

The conveyor is already loaded, and that tells you how to open. Pink, Red, Orange, and Green ride the front row, followed by Pink, Blue, and Yellow blocks, then Purple and Green blocks further back. The front row of the belt lines up almost exactly with the Boxes that cycle in first, so the level wants you to play the visible colors in the order the queue presents them.

By the midgame the grid has thinned to a few singles per column with numbered ‘1’ and ‘2’ markers still in play, and the receivers ask for Yellow, Blue, and mystery ’?’ colors. The end frame shows the board nearly empty — single Orange, Light Pink, Light Blue, Dark Blue, Yellow, Purple, and Green tiles scattered across the columns while the receivers take their final drops.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 190

The board hides more than it shows, and the conveyor punishes greedy feeding:

  • Four mystery ’?’ tiles cap the opening columns: columns 1, 2, 5, and 6 start blind. Every reveal is a gamble until you know what is underneath.
  • Numbered markers count double: the ‘3’ markers on columns 3 and 4 (later ‘1’ and ‘2’ markers) drop several tiles at once, so they bait you into tapping columns whose Boxes are not open yet.
  • Multi-tile blocks cluster the right side: the large blocks around columns 5 and 6 lock several colors together, so clearing them forces a bigger commitment than a single tap.
  • The queue front is bait as much as it is guidance: Pink, Red, Orange, and Green ride the front row, but the Boxes rotate — feed a color whose receiver has closed and the belt jams.

Marble Sort Level 190 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Play the visible colors, reveal the mystery tiles, and let the Boxes rotate toward you.

Opening: feed what the front row wants

Marble Sort level 190 mid-solve board

  1. Tap the Green and Red singles in the lower rows of the grid first — the front of the queue asks for Pink, Red, Orange, and Green, so these are the safest openers.
  2. Feed the Light Blue near the top of column 1 and the Yellow in column 2 as soon as matching Boxes sit in the front row.
  3. Leave every grey ’?’ tile and numbered marker alone for now. Do not reveal a column until you have a Box waiting for whatever might come out.
  4. Drop the Orange pair in column 2 only when an Orange Box is actually open — Orange appears twice in the queue, so it will keep coming.

Midgame: bank the markers, break the blocks

  1. Start peeling the mystery ’?’ tiles off the column tops one at a time. If the reveal matches an open Box, drop it; if not, move on and come back.
  2. Bank the numbered markers as their colors cycle forward — a ‘3’ marker (and later the ‘1’ and ‘2’ markers) clears several tiles into the front Box in a single drop.
  3. Work the multi-tile blocks around columns 5 and 6 apart by feeding their exposed colors. Each exposed tile opens the next one.
  4. Feed Dark Blue and Yellow as their Boxes rotate to the front — they cluster at the bottoms of the columns and arrive in runs.
  5. Keep the conveyor light. Never park a color whose receiver is not in the front row, and never stack a combo on a mystery tile.

Cleanup: play the singles to the finish

  1. The end board is down to scattered singles — Orange, Light Pink, Light Blue, Dark Blue, Yellow, Purple, and Green. Play only to the active front row.
  2. Let the last Light Blues, Light Pinks, and Dark Blues fall as their Boxes open. The mystery ’?’ boxes in the receiver row resolve on their own.
  3. Finish the final receivers as the stragglers drop. The level completes the moment the last tile lands.

Level 190 Tips Recap

  • Reveal before you commit: four columns open under ’?’ mystery tiles, so never plan around colors you cannot see.
  • Only feed colors with an open Box — the queue front (Pink, Red, Orange, Green) defines the safe openers, and everything else waits.
  • Bank the numbered markers early; each one drops several tiles into whichever Box is front and center.
  • In the endgame the tray is nearly empty — cycle the belt and feed the last singles into their Boxes.
