Marble Sort Level 209 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 209 Board Overview: The Mystery-Sealed Tray

Marble Sort level 209 opening board — The Mystery-Sealed Tray

Level 209 is a tile-block variant board, and it opens under a blanket of grey ’?’ mystery tiles. The upper half of the screen is a grid of blocks where the mystery tiles sit on top of the visible colored tiles — pink, red, green, white, and blue poke through around the edges, but a large share of the grid is hidden until you tap it. Nothing on this board is a straight line: reveal, check, then commit.

Two receiver boxes wait at the base of the upper grid. The left box asks for green, white, and purple; the right one asks for pink, red, green, and blue. Below the grid, a hopper funnels loose marbles down toward a row of vertical tray columns — cyan, magenta, red; purple, green, blue; yellow and blue; orange, white, blue — with empty slots scattered through the middle of the tray.

Three power-ups sit at the top of the screen — a magnet, a bomb, and a shuffler — each good for one panic moment later in the level. The board also runs a small conveyor queue that feeds the receiver boxes, so the marbles in the funnel arrive in batches rather than one at a time.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 209

The mystery tiles and the queue work together to make you over-commit. Here is the layout:

  • Most of the upper grid starts under ’?’ tiles: you cannot plan a combo around a color you cannot see, so every early reveal is a gamble.
  • The funnel loads ahead of the boxes: white and blue marbles pile up in the hopper before their receivers are ready, and the queue keeps them rolling forward whether you like it or not.
  • Only a few colors have open receivers at the start: green, white, purple, pink, red, and blue are the active asks — the yellow, orange, and extra colors in the tray columns have nowhere to go yet.
  • The tray’s middle column has empty slots early: it looks like free space, but filling it with the wrong color jams the whole bottom row.

Marble Sort Level 209 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Reveal the board before you commit to it. Follow the release order.

Opening: reveal in small batches

Marble Sort level 209 mid-solve board

  1. Tap the visible colored tiles that match the two opening receiver boxes — green, white, and purple for the left box; pink, red, green, and blue for the right.
  2. Start peeling the ’?’ mystery tiles off the grid one at a time. If the reveal matches an open receiver, drop it; if not, leave the column and move on.
  3. Feed the funnel conservatively: white and blue ride through early, so bank them only when their receiver slots are actually open.
  4. Do not chase the yellow and orange marbles in the tray columns — their boxes cycle in later, and parking them on the belt now just jams the queue.
  5. Keep the empty slots in the middle tray column free until a matching color actually arrives.

Midgame: thin the grid, ride the queue

By the middle of the solve the mystery tiles are mostly gone and the grid has thinned down to scattered stacks — pink, red, light blue, dark green, brown, and orange remain, with loose white and light-blue marbles clustered on the left side of the playfield. The receiver boxes have cycled, and the active asks are now green, yellow, dark pink, red, and white.

  1. Clear the mystery tiles that are left before touching the stacks beneath them — the reveals often match the newly open boxes.
  2. Play the queue front to back: white, dark red, and orange ride the conveyor above the receivers in order, so feed them as their slots open.
  3. Only tap a color whose receiver slot is open. Dark green and brown have no boxes at this point — leave them on the grid.
  4. When a light-blue run arrives with white marbles, take it as a batch; the queue delivers these in groups, and a full batch finishes a box in one pass.
  5. Prioritize any stack that exposes two matching tiles in a row — clearing it empties a column and frees up the grid.

Cleanup: finish the columns

The end frame shows the board reduced to a handful of color columns — dark red, dark green, light blue, bright pink, and orange — with just three mystery tiles left sitting on top of them. Every column is established and waiting only for its bottom slots to fill from the queue.

  1. Play the remaining queue in order: dark green, white, dark red, and bright pink are the last marbles in the belt.
  2. Fill each column’s empty bottom slot with its matching color as the marble arrives — do not skip ahead in the queue to grab a faster color.
  3. Clear the final three mystery tiles only when a column behind them matches what the queue is delivering.
  4. Save the magnet, bomb, or shuffler for any late clutter — a single shuffler here can unstick two nearly-done columns at once.
  5. Finish the last slot and let the tray empty; the level completes the moment the final marble lands.

Level 209 Tips Recap

  • Reveal before you commit: most of the upper grid starts under ’?’ tiles, so never plan a combo on a color you cannot see.
  • Feed only colors with an open receiver box — green, white, purple, pink, red, and blue open the level; yellow and orange are bait until the midgame.
  • Play the queue front to back: the conveyor delivers white, dark red, and orange in order, so a full matching batch clears a box in a single pass.
  • Keep the magnet, bomb, and shuffler for the endgame — three mystery tiles and a near-empty queue are the only real threats left.
