Marble Sort Level 223 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 223 Board Overview: The Chained Block Grid

Level 223 is a block-variant sort board. Instead of clean marble stacks, the top play area is an irregular grid of square color blocks sitting in white slots, and large parts of it are sealed behind obstacles. Grey chained blocks with lock icons sit scattered across the grid — immovable until they unlock — and a few grey textured rocks ask for multiple taps before they break.
The visible colors on the grid are bright Yellow in the upper-left, Light Blue in the upper-middle, Bright Pink in the upper-right, Brown on the middle-left, Green in several spots across the middle, and Orange lower-right. In the lower-middle sits a special cluster of blue spherical blocks — a group tile that clears as one unit. Down below, the receiver columns accept blocks of matching colors, with the front columns asking for Dark Blue and Green as the level opens, and a queue bar running under the grid feeding the next drops.
Two details shape the whole solve. First, the chained locks and rocks do not just sit in the corners — they guard the middle of the board, so you cannot plan a clean path through the grid until they clear. Second, the blue sphere cluster is the single biggest chunk of the board, so the level effectively revolves around unlocking and dropping it.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 223
The board is rigged to make you commit to the wrong colors. Here is the layout:
- Chained locks gate the middle of the grid: grey blocks with chains sit on top of useful colors. You cannot tap through them, so the center of the board is off-limits until they unlock.
- Grey rocks eat taps: each rock takes several hits to break, which spends moves you could be using to feed the receivers.
- The blue sphere cluster is a group tile: it clears as one unit, not block by block. Feeding it into a partial Dark Blue column wastes its value — save it for a receiver that can take the whole cluster.
- Exposed colors outnumber open receivers: Yellow, Pink, Brown, and Orange are all reachable early, but the front columns only ask for Dark Blue and Green. Drop the wrong color and the queue jams.
Marble Sort Level 223 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Work the open colors first, then break through the obstacles. Follow the release order.
Opening: clear what is exposed

- Tap the Green blocks on the middle-right and lower-middle into the Green receiver column. These are the safest drops on the opening board.
- Feed the dark blue sphere cluster in the lower-middle into a Dark Blue receiver — it clears the largest single area of the grid in one drop.
- Leave the chained locks and grey rocks alone while open colors are still coming; breaking them early spends taps you do not have yet.
- Hold Yellow, Pink, Brown, Orange, and Light Blue on the board. They are exposed, but their receiver columns are not asking yet — do not park them in the queue.
Midgame: break through the locks and rocks
Once the open colors thin out, the board shifts. The receivers cycle toward Orange, Green, Blue, Brown, Cyan, Yellow, and Pink, the queue bar fills with mixed colors, and the locked and rock-guarded sections become the only blocks left.
- As the chained locks unlock, tap the freed blocks immediately — a color under a lock finally has its receiver in rotation, so there is no reason to wait.
- Budget taps into the grey rocks between color drops. Two or three hits each is normal; do them one at a time while the queue cycles.
- Drop the Brown from the middle-left into the Brown receiver as it slides forward.
- Feed the Light Blue (cyan) blocks into their receiver when it opens; Light Blues sit in the upper-middle and mid-lower slots.
- Clear the Bright Pink blocks in the upper-right into a Pink receiver, and take Orange from the lower-right as the Orange receiver surfaces.
- Keep the queue bar turning: only play a queued block whose color has a live receiver, and let the belt cycle the rest back around.
Cleanup: funnel the last marbles
With the grid empty, the level becomes a straight finishing line. The end frame shows the play area stripped bare, with the remaining marbles pooled in the funnel under the grid and sliding down two horizontal tracks into the last receiver boxes.
- Every remaining marble — Yellow, Cyan, Orange, Pink, and Purple — is a single waiting for its receiver. Feed only the colors whose boxes are still open.
- Let the funnel and tracks work together: the top marbles in the funnel feed first, so do not force an order on them.
- Finish the final Yellow, Blue, Brown, and Pink receivers as the last marbles land, and the level completes.

Level 223 Tips Recap
- The blue sphere cluster is the biggest drop on the board — save it for a Dark Blue receiver that can take the whole group.
- Exposed does not mean open: Yellow, Pink, Brown, and Orange are bait until their receivers rotate in.
- Never waste taps on grey rocks while open colors are still feeding — break them only when they block the last colors.
- In the endgame the grid is empty; just funnel the last marbles into the remaining receivers.
