Marble Sort Level 177 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 177 Board Overview: The Crate Sandwich

Level 177 is a hard board built around two wooden Crates that sit like bookends in the middle of the Top Tray. On the left, a fat Crate blocks the lower half of its column; on the right, a second Crate does the same thing. Everything playable at the start lives above and between them.
The opening tray is generous at the top and stingy at the bottom. A row of Green and Lime tiles spans the upper-left, Yellow holds the center, and Blue, Cyan, and Teal run down the right side. Underneath, the two Crates pinch the middle of the board into a narrow funnel, and a cluster of gray Mystery Tiles with question marks sits directly behind them. A few numbered tiles are scattered through the tray, and each one costs extra clears to remove.
Down in the queue, the first Boxes cycle through Green, Blue, and Yellow receivers. The left and right bins mostly ask for the same colors you can actually reach, which is the only reason this level is survivable. The trouble starts the moment you try to reach the tiles trapped behind the Crates.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 177
The board is designed to make you clear in the wrong order:
- The twin Crates are the whole puzzle. Each one seals off a big chunk of its column, so the tiles behind them are unreachable until the Crate’s neighbors are cleared.
- The Mystery Tiles sit right in the funnel. They look like a shortcut, but they reveal colors on a timer — drop them without an open Box and they camp on the Conveyor Belt.
- The numbered tiles are silent speed bumps. They need multiple clears, so tapping them early wastes taps while the queue keeps moving.
- The right column hides Orange and Purple. They only become useful in the back half of the level, so they are bait at the start.
Marble Sort Level 177 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Play top-down and keep the belt as empty as possible.
Opening: clear the exposed top layer

- Tap the Green and Lime tiles in the upper-left of the tray into the Green and Lime Boxes that lead the queue.
- Tap the Yellow tiles in the center column into the Yellow Box.
- Clear the Blue, Cyan, and Teal tiles on the right side into their matching receivers.
- Do not touch the tiles sitting next to the Crates yet — they are the key to breaking the Crates, and you want a free belt when you start.
- Leave the Mystery Tiles alone until you know which colors their Boxes will ask for.
Midgame: crack the Crates open
Once the top row of Boxes clears, the queue cycles and the real board state appears.
- Shave the column just above the left Crate, dropping only colors that have open Boxes.
- Clear the tiles that touch the left Crate. When its neighbors are gone, the Crate breaks and the tiles behind it spill into the funnel.
- Do the same on the right: clear the touching tiles, then let the right Crate shatter.
- As the Crates come down, the Mystery Tiles flip to reveal their colors. Only drop a revealed color when its Box is already in the front row.
- Park nothing on the belt longer than one queue cycle. If a color has no Box, stop and clear something else first.
Cleanup: drain the funnel
- With both Crates gone, the tray is a straight shot — keep feeding the front Boxes in order.
- The numbered tiles in the back columns can finally be cleared for real; use them to finish the Boxes they match.
- When the belt gets tight, finish the Box holding your most common parked color before starting anything new.
- Sweep the leftover Orange, Purple, and Pink tiles as their receivers cycle to the front, and the level closes out.

Level 177 Tips Recap
- The two wooden Crates are the level — clear their touching tiles before anything behind them.
- Mystery Tiles only pay off when their color is already in the front row of the queue.
- Never tap a numbered tile just to see what is behind it; the belt space is too tight.
- The right-column Orange and Purple are endgame colors — treat them as bait until the Crates break.
