Marble Sort Level 230 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 230 Board Overview: The Locked Tile Tray

Marble Sort level 230 opening board — The Locked Tile Tray

The opening frame of the Level 230 video is the level map, not a play board — and the map flags this level as “Very Hard” before a single tile is touched, with boosters, hearts, and the coin counter already on screen. When the solve finally appears, the board is not the classic marble tubes: it is the tile/block variant, a 6x6 tray of colored squares where every drop is governed by arrow tiles, grey locked crates, and mystery ’?’ blocks.

The tray is built from three block families. Arrow tiles — pink down, blue down, purple down, orange down, blue up, red up, purple left, and pink right — steer whatever they touch in the direction they point. Two grey locked crates wall the middle rows of the center columns, and cracked or ’?’ blocks sit at the tops of several columns plus the left edge of the lower rows. A few solid tiles (pink, blue, purple, orange, red, green, yellow) hold the positions that actually feed the slots.

Below the tray, an incoming queue of blocks — white, blue, and ’?’ blocks — feeds a 3-row target zone six columns wide. The front row asks for green, orange, yellow, and blue; pink, red, purple, and white sit behind them, and a pair of grey ’?’ wildcard slots is tucked into the first row. Because the arrow tiles move every drop sideways, up, or down, the target zone fills in a very specific order.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 230

  • Every drop is a direction problem, not just a color problem. The arrow tiles (down, up, left, right) dictate where a tile lands, so one wrong tap sends a matching color into the wrong column and strands it there.
  • Two locked key crates wall the middle rows. Tiles stacked above the crates cannot finish until the locks open, and no key sits visibly on the tray — the unlock rides the queue and comes when the belt delivers it.
  • Mystery ’?’ blocks ride both the queue and the target zone. A blind drop wastes a placement, and a closed ’?’ slot cannot be planned around at all.
  • Only a few colors have open slots at a time — green, orange, yellow, and blue lead the target zone. Chasing pink, red, purple, or white too early jams the belt before the front row clears.

Marble Sort Level 230 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

The map frame shows “Very Hard” for a reason: read the arrows before you commit to any drop.

Opening: learn the arrows

  1. Clear the cracked and mystery ’?’ blocks at the tops of the columns first — they come off without a key and open the upper rows of the tray.
  2. Read every arrow tile before touching it: the pink and blue down-arrows in the top corners drop tiles straight down, while the blue and red up-arrows on the second row lift tiles out of the lower rows.
  3. Feed the top row’s down-arrows into the open front slots — green, orange, yellow, and blue are the only colors with homes right now.
  4. Do not place a tile whose color has no open slot. The queue is long, and the belt jams the moment you stack a homeless color on it.
  5. Keep the white and blue blocks in the queue moving; their slots appear early in the target zone, so let them cycle to the front.

Midgame: unlock the middle

  1. The two grey locked crates wall the center columns of row three. Nothing above them finishes until they unlock, so stop feeding that region until the belt delivers the key.
  2. Work the blue and red up-arrows on row two to lift tiles out of the lower rows and into matching slots above.
  3. Use the purple left-arrow and the pink right-arrow on row three to ferry tiles across the tray — a tile two columns away is one arrow tap from its slot.
  4. Hold the glowing purple special tile until the purple slot is exposed in the target zone; it clears more than a single slot when it finally lands.
  5. Let the mystery ’?’ blocks in the queue pass until their slots are revealed — dropping one blind wastes a whole placement.
  6. Keep feeding only colors with open slots: orange, yellow, and blue cycle early; pink, red, purple, and white come later as the front row closes.

Cleanup: finish the target zone

  1. Once the crates open, the bottom zone becomes the whole game: a 3-row target grid six columns wide, asking for green, orange, yellow, blue, pink, red, purple, and white.
  2. Match each queued block to the front-most slot of its color and let the arrows do the positioning — the target zone fills in the order the slots cycle.
  3. Treat the grey ’?’ wildcard slots as the last resort: save them for the final mystery block and the stragglers, then let the remaining queue drain into the closing slots.

Level 230 Tips Recap

  • The video opens on the level map — Level 230 is flagged “Very Hard” before the tray even appears.
  • Read the arrow tiles first: every drop is steered, so the direction matters as much as the color.
  • The two locked crates wall the middle rows — nothing above them completes until the queue delivers the key.
  • Feed only colors with open target slots, and let mystery ’?’ blocks cycle past until their slots are revealed.
