Marble Sort Level 390 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 390 Board Overview: The Keyed Grid

Marble Sort level 390 opening board — The Keyed Grid

Level 390 plays on a fixed tile grid instead of free tubes, and it opens as a Very Hard board. The first thing you notice is the keying: a Green key tube caps the tall empty slot on the top left, a Pink key tube caps the matching tall slot on the top right, and a Purple key sits lower on the left beside a sealed slot. Nothing in the middle of the grid really moves until those key columns are fed.

The colored tiles that make up the board are familiar — Green, Pink, Orange, Yellow, Purple, Red, Blue, and Brown — but they are packed into fixed blocks with empty slots between them. What you feed them comes from the conveyor at the bottom, which is loaded in tidy runs from the start: Green and Pink pairs at the very front of the queue, then Orange triples, Light Blue triples, another Pink run, and Yellow behind that.

The receiver stacks at the bottom wait in mixed sets: Green, Red, and Purple in the left stacks; Brown, Orange, and Yellow beside them; Purple, Pink, and Blue in the third; Green, Pink, and Light Blue in the last. The trick of the level is that the queue front matches the keys and the left-side receivers exactly, while the colors that look urgent on the grid have no open stack yet.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 390

The grid is rigged to make you feed the wrong runs first. Here is the layout:

  • The keys are the gate: the Green key tube on the top left and the Pink key tube on the top right each guard a tall empty slot. Until you feed a key tube, its column cannot be used, and the tiles stacked around it stay frozen.
  • The queue front is honest, the rear is bait: Green and Pink open the level because their keys and receiver stacks are ready. The Orange, Light Blue, and Yellow runs behind them look just as reachable but have fewer places to go early.
  • Some colors have no receiver at all at the start: Purple has a key but no open stack in the first wave, and Brown shows up in a receiver target with no free Brown anywhere on the board — it has to cycle in from later drops.
  • The sealed slot is a trap: the locked slot near the Purple key looks like a goal, but it stays sealed until the surrounding stacks fill. Planning around it early just wastes queue space.

Marble Sort Level 390 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Follow the key order and the level opens itself. Stay patient with the runs.

Opening: feed the key columns

  1. Tap the Green marbles at the front of the queue into the Green key tube on the top left. Each Green you feed clears the key column a step further.
  2. Do the same with the Pink run into the Pink key tube on the top right. Feed these two colors only — everything else on the conveyor is a distraction until their stacks open.
  3. As the two tall top slots unlock, start dropping freed Green and Pink tiles into the matching receiver stacks below. Left-side receivers take Green first, the third stack takes Pink.
  4. Leave the Purple key alone for now: its sealed slot is not ready, and Purple has nowhere safe to land.
  5. Keep the queue cycling. When Red or Light Blue tiles reach the front and their receiver stack is showing, take them — the left stacks ask for Green, Red, and Purple in mixed sets, so Red earns its keep early.

Midgame: let the stacks cycle toward the grid

Once the key columns are down, the fixed blocks in the middle of the grid start to matter. The receivers cycle through their mixed sets, and the colors that were bait at the start finally get homes.

  1. Feed Orange in matched runs as soon as an Orange target sits in a front stack — the Brown-Orange-Yellow stack opens mid-solve, so the Orange triples on the belt become safe.
  2. Work Yellow the same way: it rides the back of the queue in a triple and fills the same Brown-Orange-Yellow stack once Orange is banked.
  3. Clear the Purple clusters on the grid into the Purple receiver stack when it cycles forward — Purple sits under the sealed slot, so freeing it is what finally makes the bottom of the board usable.
  4. Feed Blue and any remaining Pink runs as their stacks open; keep at least one empty slot on your side of the grid at all times so you always have somewhere to stage a color that arrives early.
  5. Do not touch Brown until its receiver is actually open — it is the color the board teases you with longest.

Cleanup: unseal the last slot

The closing frames catch the board mid-solve: the grid is down to scattered stacks, the conveyor is still running its last batches, and the receiver area is nearly complete except for the sealed slot.

  1. Fill the receivers around the locked slot first. The seal only breaks once its neighbors are done, so chase the stacks that flank it.
  2. Play the trailing queue runs — Purple, Orange, Green, and the last Light Blue tiles arrive in groups, and each group finishes one stack in a single pass.
  3. Let the final singles drop into whichever receiver is front and center. When the last stack completes, the locked slot opens and the level ends.

Level 390 Tips Recap

  • Feed the Green and Pink key tubes before anything else — they unlock the two tall columns and set the whole solve in motion.
  • Only tap a queue color whose receiver stack is open. Orange, Light Blue, and Yellow are bait until the midgame cycles them forward.
  • The sealed slot near the Purple key is the finish line, not a target: it unseals only after the surrounding stacks fill.
  • Keep one staging slot free at all times; on a fixed grid, a full board is a dead board.
