Marble Sort Level 218 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 218 Board Overview: The Mystery-Sealed Block Grid

Marble Sort level 218 opening board — The Mystery-Sealed Block Grid

Level 218 plays on the block-grid variant of the board: instead of classic tubes, the upper tray is a wall of colored arrowed blocks — Red, Blue, Pink, Brown, Purple, Orange, Yellow, and Light Blue tiles with white arrows pointing down, left, and right. At the start, part of that grid is sealed: four grey ’?’ mystery tiles sit across the board, three of them running along the top row and a fourth in the middle of the grid, hiding whatever blocks wait underneath.

Below the grid, a dispenser funnel feeds a conveyor with marbles ready to launch upward. The opening queue is loaded with Pink, Yellow, Brown, and Red, with a Yellow marble sitting at the funnel exit, and stacks of Green, Purple, Orange, and Red wait on the tray behind them. The bottom receiver boxes are already part-worked: one column is stacked full with Orange, another full with Pink, Cyan, Green, and Yellow, and two more columns still have slots open — one of them capped by a ’?’ mystery tile. Three helper tools (magnet, cutter, and gumball) each carry a single-use badge at the top of the screen.

The colors that matter at the start are Yellow and Orange: Orange has a full column waiting, and Yellow is the first marble the funnel is about to drop. Everything else in the opening queue — Pink, Brown, Red — needs a slot to open before it is safe to feed.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 218

The board hides its own targets. Here is the layout:

  • Four mystery ’?’ tiles seal part of the grid: three run across the top row and one sits mid-grid. You cannot plan around the blocks underneath until you reveal them, and every early reveal is a gamble.
  • The dispenser queue opens with colors that have no slots: Pink, Brown, and Red ride the front of the conveyor, but the visible receivers ask for Orange and Yellow. Feed the wrong marble and the funnel backs up before the board opens.
  • A ’?’ tile caps one of the receiver columns: the right-side column ends in a mystery tile, so one of your finishing slots stays hidden until the late game.
  • The helper tools are one-use: the magnet, cutter, and gumball each carry a single-use badge. Spending them early on a jam you caused yourself leaves nothing for the late-game push.

Marble Sort Level 218 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Play the funnel, not the grid. Follow the release order.

Opening: feed the funnel exit

Marble Sort level 218 mid-solve board

  1. Take the Yellow marble at the funnel exit first — it is the only guaranteed safe drop on the opening board.
  2. Feed Orange next; the left receiver column is already full of Orange, so every Orange you launch has a home.
  3. Leave Pink, Brown, and Red on the conveyor for now. None of them has an open slot at the start, and parking them on the belt jams the funnel.
  4. Tap the top-row ’?’ mystery tiles to reveal the blocks underneath. If the reveal matches an open receiver, drop it; if not, leave it and move on.
  5. Keep the queue moving with Yellow and Orange only while the grid works through its opening blocks.

Midgame: let the grid open up

By the middle of the solve the grid has thinned out: the filled arrowed blocks are giving way to empty white target slots, and the board starts asking for the mid-range colors — Light Blue, Purple, and Green. The queue shifts too, with Light Blue, Orange, and Purple riding the front of the dispenser and Light Pink, Red, Brown, Purple, and Green sitting on top of the tray stacks.

  1. Feed Light Blue and Purple as their slots cycle into the open — both sit near the top of the queue and arrive in runs.
  2. Work the tray stacks down one marble at a time; the Light Pink and Green marbles underneath the top layer are your real targets.
  3. Reveal the remaining ’?’ tile in the middle of the grid when its column is all that stands between you and an open slot.
  4. Take the queue in batches: a full run of a single color finishes a receiver in one pass and clears belt space fast.
  5. Do not touch Brown or Red until their receiver slots actually open — they have been riding the queue since the start, and there is no rush.

Cleanup: finish on the last colors

The end frame shows the board almost done: the grid is down to a single Blue block on the left side, and the dispenser holds only the last batch of marbles — a row of Pinks, a few Yellows, and a handful of Reds. The receivers are still taking their final tiles.

  1. Feed Pink first — it is the deepest stack in the dispenser and the level’s main remaining color.
  2. Cycle the Yellow and Red marbles into their final slots as the receivers open; there is no other color left to block them.
  3. Play only to the active front row from here. The last Blue block on the grid resolves when its matching marble finally drops.
  4. Let the funnel empty and the board finishes itself — the level completes the moment the last marble lands.

Level 218 Tips Recap

  • Feed the funnel exit before anything else: Yellow opens the level, and Orange rides a full column.
  • Reveal before you commit — the four ’?’ mystery tiles hide half the opening grid.
  • Save the magnet, cutter, and gumball for a real jam; each tool has exactly one use.
  • In the endgame the grid is nearly empty — just cycle the last Pink, Yellow, and Red marbles into their open slots.
