Marble Sort Level 214 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 214 Board Overview: The Chained Middle Split

Marble Sort level 214 opening board — The Chained Middle Split

Level 214 is a Hard block board, and it starts with a barrier across the middle of the play area. Three columns make up the tray — a narrow column on the left, a wide column in the center that is split into two sub-columns, and a column on the right. Grey chains with a purple lock pinch the middle split shut, and more locks cap the tops of the left and right columns, so the open board is smaller than it looks.

The left column holds a locked Green on top of a locked Yellow, with White, Dark Red, and a red block stacked beneath. The middle split is where the real work lives: White over a Red “3” marker over Dark Blue over Light Pink on the left side, and Light Blue over another Red “3” marker over Dark Grey over a Dark Blue block on the right, with a Light Blue block at the base. The right column stacks Dark Green and Yellow above a locked Blue and a Blue “2” marker, then a Dark Green block and a Purple block at the bottom.

Across the bottom runs an incoming tray already loaded with Red, Dark Purple, Orange, Light Blue, Dark Grey, and Green — plus locked mystery ”?” slots that will deliver whatever they are hiding once revealed. Between the chained middle, the locked column tops, and the unknown slots, the opening board is a puzzle about what you are allowed to touch, not just what matches.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 214

The board is rigged to make you chase locked and unknown tiles before the tray can accept them. Here is the layout:

  • Locked column tops: the Green and Yellow at the top of the left column and the Blue near the top of the right column all wear lock icons. They are unreachable until their locks clear, so taps there are wasted.
  • The chained middle split: a purple lock and grey chains seal the center. Both sub-columns have to be worked at the same time, and the chain does not drop until the lock is dealt with.
  • Locked mystery ”?” slots: the incoming tray carries ”?” slots that are also locked. You cannot plan around a color the board has not shown you yet, and feeding them blindly can jam the tray.
  • Numbered markers: Red “3” markers in both middle sub-columns and a Blue “2” marker in the right column count as several tiles in one drop. They are powerful, but only if you free them toward a matching receiver instead of dumping them early.

Marble Sort Level 214 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Play the open tiles first and let the locks open the rest. Follow the release order.

Opening: clear the middle split

Marble Sort level 214 mid-solve board

The two middle sub-columns hold the only fully unlocked stacks, and the incoming tray has matching colors waiting at the front of the queue.

  1. Feed the visible Light Blue and White tiles from the middle sub-columns into their matching receivers — these are the safest drops on the opening board.
  2. Work the Dark Blue and Light Pink down the left side of the middle split, and the Dark Grey on the right, taking each open tile as its receiver cycles to the front.
  3. Feed the Red, Light Blue, Dark Grey, and Green colors already sitting in the bottom tray rows. These arrive in runs, so several receivers fill in a single pass.
  4. Do not touch the Green, Yellow, or Blue lock-capped tiles in the outer columns, and do not tap the locked ”?” slots yet — none of their reveals are guaranteed homes.

Midgame: unlock the columns and bank the markers

Once the middle split thins out, the board opens up. The mid-solve frame shows the left column stripped down to a key-carrying green block, a solid Yellow, and a cluster of red marbles, while a large purple lock still spans the center. The right side holds Light Blue blocks under Red “3” markers, a Yellow, and crate-style blocks (a yellow 5x5 grid and a light blue 4x4 grid).

  1. Take the key off the green block in the left column and use it to open the green lock — the color it guards can then feed the open receivers.
  2. Bank the Red “3” markers in both middle sub-columns as soon as a matching receiver sits front and center. Each marker clears several tiles at once and empties a stack fast.
  3. Bank the Blue “2” marker in the right column the same way once the locked Blue above it has cleared.
  4. Start revealing the ”?” slots in the bottom tray. If the reveal matches an open receiver, drop it; if not, leave it and let the queue cycle back.
  5. Let the purple lock in the center break as the middle columns empty — after that, the tray opens up and the remaining crates can be worked from both sides.

Cleanup: feed the launch queue

The end frame shows the board nearly empty. A single Purple block sits in the top-left slot, one Light Blue remains in the bottom row of the right grid, and the launch zone at the bottom holds the last queue of Pink, Yellow, Green, Red, White, and one mystery ”?” block, with three empty receiver tubes waiting below.

  1. Feed the last Purple and Light Blue stragglers as their receivers slide to the front.
  2. Cycle the launch queue one color at a time, playing only the tiles whose receivers are open — the Pink, Yellow, Green, and Red will each find their tube as the queue turns.
  3. Play the final ”?” block only when the front receiver can accept whatever it reveals.
  4. Finish the last three tubes as the queue empties, and the level completes when the tray is clear.

Level 214 Tips Recap

  • Unlocked tiles in the middle split come first — the outer column tops are lock-capped and stay off-limits until their locks clear.
  • Treat locked ”?” slots as unknowns: reveal them only when the front row can accept what appears.
  • Bank the “3” and “2” numbered markers early — they clear several tiles in a single drop.
  • In the endgame the tray is nearly empty; just cycle the launch queue and feed the last colors into their tubes.
