Marble Sort Level 417 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 417 Board Overview: The Half-Filled Top Row

Level 417 is a Hard run of the container-grid variant, and the recording opens the way Cherie Gaming’s videos usually do: with the channel bumper card on screen before the playfield appears. When the board does show up, it arrives mid-run, with part of the top row already drinking marbles and the rest of the field still packed with unsorted inventory.
The play area is a grid of color-capped cells. Across the top row, Yellow, Green, and Light Blue cells are already partway filled with marbles, while the Violet cell on the far left and the Lime Green cell beside it are still completely empty. An unmarked grey cell sits open in the middle of that row as staging, and a Lime Green cell caps the right flank of the grid too. Two x2 multiplier markers decorate the field — one on the left near the Lime Green cell and one on the right beside the tall green column.
The interesting part is the inventory waiting below. A tall, unbroken column of Dark Green marbles runs down the right side of the field, and the lower tray is queued with a Light Blue run at one end and Pink marbles beside it, with a longer Orange run riding underneath. Four short ground columns at the bottom of the field hold mixed stacks of Light Blue, Orange, Pink, Lime Green, Yellow, and Green. Nothing visible on screen has an open receiver for Orange, Pink, or Dark Green yet, which is the whole problem of the level.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 417
The board is rigged to make you finish the easy half first and jam on the inventory. Here is the layout:
- The top row is only half started: Yellow, Green, and Light Blue cells already hold marbles, but Violet and Lime Green are empty. Players chase the nearly-done cells first and forget that the empty receivers are the actual endgame.
- The Dark Green column is all one color: the right side of the field is one unbroken stack of Dark Green with no mixing. It cannot be dribbled away a marble at a time — it has to drain as a block once a cell opens for it.
- Orange is the longest run in the tray: the lower queue carries eleven Orange marbles with no open cell anywhere on the board. Feed them early and the tray jams before the receivers cycle.
- Pink sits in every zone: Pink appears in both tray rows and inside the ground columns, but no Pink cell is open in the visible frame, so every early Pink drop is a gamble.
Marble Sort Level 417 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
The board appears mid-run, so the discipline is the same one the whole level rewards: feed only the cells that are open for their color, and keep the long runs moving.
Opening: finish the cells that are already taking marbles

- Survey the top row before touching anything. Yellow, Green, and Light Blue are live; Violet, Lime Green, and every unmarked cell are not.
- Feed Light Blue first — it is the only live color with a matching run waiting in the tray. Six Light Blue marbles queue at the left end of the lower tray, exactly enough to top off the half-filled Light Blue cell.
- Keep the Yellow cell fed as Yellow marbles surface from the mixed ground columns.
- Do the same for Green; the Green cell sits beside Light Blue, so route those colors together while the staging is quiet.
- Leave the empty Violet and Lime Green cells alone until a dedicated single-color feed is ready — scattering random colors into them wastes the emptiest space on the board.
- Do not tap the long Orange row yet. Nothing on screen accepts Orange, so it only blocks the tray.
Midgame: drain the column and work the ground stacks
Once the first cells fill, the receivers cycle and the board opens up. The empty Violet and Lime Green cells become the priority, and the heavy feeds finally have somewhere to go.
- When a Dark Green receiver opens, drain the right-side column in one sustained feed. It is a single unbroken color, so a continuous run clears it far faster than pausing between drops.
- Route the lower tray in queue order: clear the remaining Light Blue and Pink runs before the Orange row reaches the front.
- Work the four ground columns one stack at a time, releasing only the color whose cell is open at that moment.
- Use the empty grey staging cell in the middle of the top row to shuffle a marble when two stacks need the same receiver — park one color there while you clear the other.
- Save the x2-marked Lime Green cell for a proper multi-marble fill; a multiplier only pays off when you drop several matching marbles in a row.
- Keep feeding the half-row colors as they cycle back around; Light Blue and Green runs reappear in the queue, so the open cells swallow them in batches.
Cleanup: run the last colors home
The recording closes on the reward screen — a purple gift chest with a 90% progress bar, a +50 coin bonus, and a green Continue button — which confirms the level clears cleanly. From the final stretch of the board, the finish is pure queue management.
- Play only to the cells still accepting marbles; once Yellow, Green, and Light Blue top out, stop feeding their colors.
- Let the long Orange row drain into its receiver as it cycles to the front — it is the biggest remaining queue, so it clears in one pass when its cell finally opens.
- Feed the last Pink and Dark Green stragglers as their cells come up, and let the ground columns empty one color at a time.
- Do not chase a color whose cell has already capped. The level completes the moment the last open cell fills.

Level 417 Tips Recap
- Half the top row is already started — finish the Light Blue, Yellow, and Green cells before you open the empty Violet and Lime Green receivers.
- The right-side Dark Green column is an all-or-nothing feed: drain it in one sustained run, never dribble it into staging.
- The tray is queue-ordered: clear the Light Blue and Pink runs before the long Orange row reaches the front.
- Save the x2-marked Lime Green drop for a real multi-marble fill, and only feed colors whose cell is open at that moment.
