Marble Sort Level 255 Walkthrough & Solution
Level 255 Board Overview: The Mystery-Sealed Right Tray

Level 255 opens with half the board behind a grey curtain. A row of mystery ’?’ tiles caps the top of the right tray, with more scattered just below it, so the top-left region of the board is invisible until you tap it. The left tray is fully open: a Maroon marble rides on top of two Light Pinks in its first column, a Dark Grey marble covers another Light Pink beside it, and more marbles sit out on the right of the tray.
The right tray peeks out from under the mystery tiles: Yellow and Light Green sit just below the sealed row, with Dark Grey marbles and a Purple marble anchored near the bottom. Down in the chute, the queue is already loaded — Green, Red, Blue, and Orange ride the belt from the very first tap — and the front row of receiver Boxes asks for Green, Light Blue, and Dark Blue, with Red cycling in as those fill.
As Boxes fill, the front row rotates, so colors that start with no receiver — Maroon, Light Pink, Yellow, and Orange — all get their turn in the midgame. The level is won by rhythm: keep the belt fed only with colors that have a Box waiting, and reveal the mystery tiles from the edges outward.
The Trap in Marble Sort Level 255
- The right tray is mystery-sealed: ’?’ tiles blanket the top row and more sit just below it. You cannot plan the top of the board until you reveal it, so every early tap near the top of the right tray is a gamble.
- Only a few colors have Boxes at the start: Green, Light Blue, and Dark Blue sit in the front row. Maroon, Light Pink, Yellow, and Orange are all visible within the first few taps — and none of them has a receiver yet. Feed them early and the belt jams.
- The queue starts pre-loaded with bait: Orange rides the belt from the first second. It is the perfect trap tap: easy to grab, impossible to place.
- Dark Grey marbles act as blockers: black textured marbles sit in the left tray’s second column and anchor the lower right tray. They only clear when the Dark Grey Box rotates into the front row.
Marble Sort Level 255 Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Opening: feed the queue, ignore the bait

- Pull the Green marbles already riding the front of the queue into the Green Box — the belt carries a long run of them from the very start.
- Feed the Red and Blue marbles on the belt next; their Boxes sit in the front row from the opening.
- Grab any additional Blue on the right tray’s open columns and drop it in as the Blue Boxes fill.
- Do not touch the Maroon and Light Pink stacked in the left tray’s first column. No Box exists for them yet, and parking them on the belt wastes the opening.
- Leave the Orange at the front of the queue and the Yellow under the right tray’s mystery tiles alone.
- Start revealing the ’?’ tiles from the left edge of the right tray. If the reveal matches a front-row Box, drop it; if not, leave the column and move on.
Midgame: the right tray opens up
Once the early Green, Light Blue, and Dark Blue Boxes clear, the front row rotates hard. Red and Purple receivers slide forward, and the left tray’s colors finally get their turn. By the mid-solve frame the trays are stripped down to a Red and a Blue in the left tray, a Red and an Orange in the right, and a queue running Red, Orange, and Yellow in long chains.
- Feed the Maroon and Light Pink from the left tray now — the rotation brings their Boxes forward, and the end-state receivers show Pink finishing late.
- Drop the Dark Grey marbles into the Dark Grey Box the moment it sits front and center; they block the lower right tray until they go.
- Reveal the rest of the mystery tiles and bank whatever they hide into whichever Box is open.
- Play the queue in runs: Red and Orange arrive in long chains mid-solve, so feed a whole run instead of picking singles.
Cleanup: the last columns
The end frame shows the board nearly done. The left tray holds a single Red over a Blue, the right tray a final Brown over a Red, and the queue is down to clusters of Green and Purple.
- Feed the Green and Purple clusters as their Boxes cycle to the front — they clear in pairs.
- Play only to the active front row from here. The last Red and Blue in the left tray drop when their receivers open.
- Let the queue cycle past any color whose Box has already closed; the final Boxes finish the moment their last marbles land.

Level 255 Tips Recap
- The right tray’s top row is mystery-sealed — reveal from the edges and only drop what matches a Box that is actually open.
- Open the level on Green, Light Blue, and Dark Blue; Maroon, Light Pink, Yellow, and Orange are bait until the midgame rotation.
- The queue is pre-loaded, so play it in runs — a full chain of Reds or Blues clears a Box in one pass.
- In the endgame, only the front row matters: feed the last Green and Purple clusters and let the tray empty itself.
