Marble Sort Level 227 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 227 Board Overview: The Crate-Sealed Hard Tray

Marble Sort level 227 opening board — The Crate-Sealed Hard Tray

Level 227 is a Hard board, and the opening frame makes the difficulty obvious: the tray is played with square block tiles instead of round marbles, and the stacks are dressed with special tiles. Grey ’?’ mystery tiles cap several columns, numbered ‘3’ tiles ride the top of the board, white lock tiles and brown wooden crates marked with an X sit on top of useful colors, and dark grey stone tiles round out the clutter.

The top row of receiver boxes opens asking for Blue, Yellow, White, and Green, left to right. That is the whole opening plan in one line: those four colors are the only ones with homes at the start. Everything else on the tray — Pink, Purple, Orange, Red, and Brown — is waiting for the Boxes to cycle, and every tile you tap too early parks a piece on the conveyor with nowhere to go.

Below the tile tray runs the conveyor belt, carrying round marbles. At the start it runs White, Pink, Orange, Red, and Green. The belt is the level’s lifeline: every tile you free eventually rides it, so the state of the queue decides what you can safely tap at any moment.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 227

The board is rigged to make you reveal and grab faster than the Boxes can accept. Here is the layout:

  • Mystery ’?’ tiles cap the columns: you cannot plan the top of the board until you tap it, so every early reveal is a gamble.
  • Numbered ‘3’ tiles sit at the top: they deliver bonus tiles in bulk the moment they are freed, which sounds great until they dump three of a color with no open Box.
  • Lock tiles and crates block the useful colors: the white lock tiles and brown X-crates sit on top of stacks you actually need, and clearing them costs belt space first.
  • Only four colors have receivers at the start: Blue, Yellow, White, and Green. Pink, Purple, Orange, Red, and Brown are pure bait until the midgame.

Marble Sort Level 227 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Play the open colors, crack the special tiles, and let the belt finish the job. Follow the release order.

Opening: feed the four open colors

Marble Sort level 227 mid-solve board

  1. Tap the Blue tiles into the first receiver Box — Blue is the safest color on the board.
  2. Feed Yellow into its Box next; it sits high in the stacks, so clear it before it blocks anything underneath.
  3. Move to the White tiles and drop them into the White Box.
  4. Collect the Green tiles into the Green Box to close out the opening row.
  5. Do not touch Pink, Purple, Orange, Red, or Brown yet — no receiver exists for them, and the conveyor has nowhere to park them.
  6. Watch the belt before every tap: White, Pink, Orange, Red, and Green ride it at the start, and only White and Green are legal drops in the opening.

Midgame: crack the special tiles

By the middle of the solve the tray has thinned to a handful of full columns — stacks of Blue, Yellow, White, Red, Orange, Light Blue, and Purple standing three tiles tall — with mystery tiles, numbered ‘3’ tiles, a lock tile, and a crate still capping the columns. The front row has cycled toward new targets, and the belt is running Yellow, Blue, Pink, and Purple marbles.

  1. Reveal the ’?’ mystery tiles one at a time. If the reveal matches a front-row Box, drop it; if not, leave the column and come back.
  2. Bank the numbered ‘3’ tiles only when a matching Box sits front and center — each one clears several slots at once.
  3. Deal with the lock tile by clearing the row above it first; the piece underneath is usually the one you want.
  4. Work the full columns top-down, freeing one tile at a time instead of trying to empty a column in one pass.
  5. On the conveyor, tap only marbles whose color has an open Box. A Pink or Purple marble rolling past is not an invitation.

Cleanup: close out the last three colors

The endgame board narrows to a straight finish. The receivers now ask for Light Blue, Orange, and Green, and the remaining stacks and belt are built from exactly those colors — Light Blue, Orange, and Green tiles and marbles, with a little White still on the belt.

  1. Feed the Light Blue tiles into the Light Blue Box as soon as it is in reach.
  2. Drop the Orange tiles into their Box next — they arrive in short runs, so take them as they come.
  3. Close out the Green Box with the last green tiles.
  4. Let the conveyor cycle the stragglers: White and the final greens ride the belt into their Boxes on their own.
  5. Finish the last three Boxes as the tray empties. The level completes the moment the final tile lands.

Level 227 Tips Recap

  • Feed only colors with an open Box — Blue, Yellow, White, and Green open the level; everything else is bait.
  • Bank the numbered ‘3’ tiles; they clear several slots at once when a matching Box is front and center.
  • Treat ’?’ reveals as gambles: only play a revealed color into a matching Box, and never stack a combo on an unknown.
  • The endgame narrows to Light Blue, Orange, and Green — cycle the belt and close the final three Boxes.
