Marble Sort Level 233 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 233 Board Overview: A Sparse Tray Over a Full Queue

Marble Sort level 233 opening board — A Sparse Tray Over a Full Queue

Level 233 is a late-game board that looks almost empty at first glance — and that is exactly what makes it dangerous. The tray holds only a handful of solid colored tiles scattered across the grid: a Yellow tile in the upper-left area, an Orange tile toward the upper right, and a Pink tile sitting near the center. Everything else in the grid is open slot.

The real mass of the level sits below the tray. A wide bottom queue is packed two rows deep with marbles waiting to feed upward — Purple, Green, Red, and Grey fill the front row in runs, with Light Blue and Dark Grey lined up behind them. The queue cycles through every color the board uses, including Cyan, Dark Blue, Brown, and Orange in the earlier stretches of the solve.

Two target boxes sit at the top of the grid, both showing an empty “0” counter. They accept whatever color you feed them as the queue cycles, so the level is less about choosing between many targets and more about keeping the queue moving without jamming it.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 233

The board is rigged to make you dump the queue faster than the targets can take it. Here is the layout:

  • The bottom queue is stacked two rows deep: the front row alone runs Purple, Green, Red, and Grey in long batches. Tap greedily and the belt jams before the tray has a single open target for most of those colors.
  • Only two target boxes are live: the tray colors — Yellow, Orange, Pink, Green, Red — all have to share just two receivers, and Purple, Dark Blue, Brown, and Cyan have no receiver at all in the opening stretch.
  • Marbles feed upward in clusters: the mid-solve frame shows a cluster of Pink, Red, and Green marbles traveling in flight between the queue and the tray. Matches arrive in runs, so a single mistimed tap stalls the whole flow.
  • A mystery ’?’ tile capped one of the right-side columns mid-solve: it clears like any tile, but you cannot plan a combo on a color you have not seen yet.

The board wants you to feed every color that surfaces. Do that and the queue backs up. Instead, play in color runs and only commit to the tray when a matching target is open.

Marble Sort Level 233 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Keep the queue cycling and let the targets set the pace. Follow the release order.

Opening: take the tray tiles first

The pre-placed tiles are your safest starts — they are already on the board and cost nothing to reach.

  1. Tap the Yellow tile in the upper-left area of the tray. It lands in the first target box, leaving the counter at 1.
  2. Follow with the Pink tile near the center of the grid once a target is open for it.
  3. Take the Orange tile toward the upper right into the other target box. With all three pre-placed tiles down, the tray is open for the queue.
  4. Watch the front of the bottom queue and feed only colors whose target box is live. Purple leads the front row — it has no receiver yet, so let it cycle past.

Midgame: ride the color runs

The queue delivers in batches, so play it in batches. Green, Red, and Grey ride the front row in runs of three to five — each run can finish a target box in a single pass.

  1. When the Green run reaches the front, feed Greens back to back until the run is spent and a target box ticks over.
  2. Do the same for the Red run when it surfaces — Reds arrive in a tight cluster, so take them in one sweep.
  3. Let the Grey tiles wait until a target is open; they travel with the run but have no home in the opening stretch.
  4. If a mystery ’?’ tile caps a column, reveal it and drop it only when its color matches a live target — otherwise leave the column alone.
  5. Keep the queue unclogged: never tap a color that has no live target, even when it sits at the front of the belt.
  6. Clear the tray column by column as the scattered Yellow, Pink, and Green tiles get picked off by the cycling targets.

Cleanup: feed the stragglers

The end frame shows the tray stripped down to a handful of tiles — the Yellow, Pink, and Orange stragglers — while the queue still cycles and the target boxes keep taking marbles.

  1. From here the queue does most of the work: every color that surfaces feeds into whichever target is open.
  2. Finish the last tray tiles as their matching colors cycle to the front.
  3. Let the final runs of Light Blue and Grey drop into the targets as the boxes open for them.
  4. The level completes the moment the last marble lands — there is no need to empty the queue, only the tray.

Level 233 Tips Recap

  • The pre-placed Yellow, Pink, and Orange tiles are free points — bank them before touching the queue.
  • Play the bottom queue in color runs: Green, Red, and Grey arrive in batches, and one full sweep finishes a target box.
  • Never feed a color whose target is closed — Purple, Dark Blue, Brown, and Cyan wait out the early game on the belt.
  • In the endgame the tray is nearly empty; just keep the queue cycling and let the stragglers drop.
