Marble Sort Level 240 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 240 Board Overview: The Mystery-Sealed Grid

Marble Sort level 240 opening board — The Mystery-Sealed Grid

Level 240 is a Very Hard board built on a six-by-six tile grid, and the opening frame hides most of it. Every column is capped with a grey ’?’ mystery tile, and more mystery tiles sit deeper in the stack, so you cannot read the top half of the board until you start tapping. What you can see at the start is a small honest core: a Light Pink tile in the top-left column, a Green block in the middle, a White tile at the center, Red and Light Green blocks in the lower rows, and a pair of numbered Light Blue tiles marked “3” flanking the grid on both sides.

The mechanics do the real work on this board. Two grey mystery tiles in the second row are sealed behind yellow locks, and the only way to open them is the Orange key sitting at the right side of the grid. The numbered Light Blue markers each drop three tiles at once, and several arrow tiles stand ready to push revealed tiles toward the receivers. The receiver boxes cycle through Light Blue, Light Pink, White, Red, Light Green, and Dark Green, and the conveyor below is preloaded in matching batches — Red, Light Green, Light Blue, Dark Pink, White, and Dark Green all ride the queue from the very first move.

The danger is that everything available to you is a gamble. The mystery tops mean your opening taps decide what you can do next, and the locked tiles mean a whole column pair is off-limits until the Orange key arrives. Play the reveals and the markers before you chase the queue.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 240

The board is built to punish blind feeding. Here is the layout:

  • Every column starts under a ’?’ tile: the entire top row is mystery, with more ’?’ tiles scattered through the second and third rows. You cannot plan the top of the board until you tap it.
  • Two locked tiles seal the second row: grey mystery tiles in the left-center columns are held behind yellow locks. They stay stuck until you deliver the Orange key from the right side of the grid.
  • Numbered Light Blue markers drop three tiles each: the “3” tiles at the far left and far right clear a whole stack in one tap, so they are wasted unless you send them into an open Light Blue receiver.
  • The conveyor arrives in color batches: Reds, Light Greens, Light Blues, Dark Pinks, Whites, and Dark Greens ride the queue from the start. Feeding a color whose receiver is not in the front row jams the belt before the grid clears.

Marble Sort Level 240 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Reveal the board before you commit to it. Follow the release order.

Opening: reveal the tops and unlock the row

Marble Sort level 240 mid-solve board

  1. Tap the ’?’ mystery tiles off the column tops one at a time. Drop each reveal straight into a receiver if its color is in the front row; if not, leave the column and come back.
  2. Bank the Light Blue “3” markers on the left and right edges as soon as a Light Blue receiver is active — each one delivers three tiles in a single tap and empties its column fast.
  3. Feed the visible singles while they are safe: the Light Pink at the top-left, the Green in the middle, the White at the center, and the Red and Light Green in the lower rows all have receivers waiting.
  4. Work the Orange key out from the right side of the grid — it is the only tool that can break the yellow locks.
  5. Carry the key to the locked tiles in the second row and unlock them. The grey ’?’ tiles beneath open up and rejoin the playable grid.

Midgame: cycle the belt and clear the columns

By the middle of the solve the grid has thinned out dramatically — the mid-solve frame shows the center columns emptied and only a handful of tiles left standing. The remaining work is the mystery-capped columns, the numbered Blue and Green blocks, and the tail of the conveyor.

  1. Keep the receivers fed from the belt in order: Reds and Light Greens lead the queue, followed by Light Blues, Dark Pinks, Whites, and Dark Greens. Clear each color while its receiver sits in the front row.
  2. Use the arrow tiles to push revealed tiles toward the active receivers — the yellow arrows and the blue arrow on the right edge redirect tiles that would otherwise pile up.
  3. Work the last mystery-capped columns top-down, one tile at a time, so a reveal never strands a color on the belt without a home.
  4. Do not chase Dark Pink until its receiver cycles forward — it arrives on the belt in a batch of three, so one pass finishes the job when the timing is right.

Cleanup: feed the stragglers

With the grid nearly empty, the level is a straight finishing line.

  1. Every remaining tile is a single waiting for its receiver to slide to the front — play only to the active front row.
  2. Let the queue cycle the final batches: the last Light Blues, Greens, and numbered blocks feed as their receivers open. Do not chase colors whose receivers have already closed.
  3. Finish the final receivers and let the tray empty. The level completes as soon as the last tiles land — the end of the run shows the victory screen with the level completed.

Level 240 Tips Recap

  • Reveal before you commit: the whole top row is ’?’ mystery tiles, so never plan a combo on colors you cannot see.
  • The Orange key is your only way past the yellow locks — free it from the right side early and unlock the second row as soon as it is open.
  • Bank the Light Blue “3” markers into a Light Blue receiver: three tiles cleared per tap is the fastest way to strip a column.
  • Feed the conveyor in its batches and only when the matching receiver is in the front row — the belt jams the moment you pull a color without a home.
