Marble Sort Level 362 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 362 Board Overview: The Numbered Gate Column

Marble Sort level 362 opening board — The Numbered Gate Column

Level 362 runs on the funnel machine: a seven-column grid of square colored tiles sits above the board, and everything you release drops through the funnel, rides the conveyor as round marbles, and lands in the receiver Boxes at the bottom. The tray opens completely packed — almost every stack stands tall to the top row, and the palette is wide: Light Pink, Dark Pink, Orange, Light Blue, Dark Blue, Yellow, Green, Dark Red, Brown, and Dark Purple all share the board.

The center column is where the level gets its personality. Midway down the stack sits a numbered gate tile marked ‘3’, with an empty crate frame directly beneath it. The number counts down as the machine feeds marbles into that column — the first reads show the gate still holding its full ‘3’, and by the midgame it has dropped to ‘1’ — so the center cannot drain as one clean run. It releases slowly, and it releases on its own schedule. Scattered across the other stacks are arrow tiles that do not just sit there: a marble that rides into a right or left arrow shifts sideways into the neighboring column instead of falling straight down.

The opening target list is honest and short. The receiver Boxes at the bottom are asking for Yellow and Green first, and the machine is already helping — a queue of Yellow marbles waits in the funnel and the belt below is cycling Red and Green batches. The colors buried in the deep layers of the stacks — Brown, Orange, Dark Purple — have no Box anywhere near the front, and the Pinks and Blues stacked above them are mid-game prizes at best.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 362

The board is rigged to make you trust a straight drop that never happens. Here is the layout:

  • The numbered gate blocks the center: the ‘3’ tile in the middle column swallows feeds and counts down one at a time. Tap the center expecting a full release and you get a trickle — plan around a column that opens in three slow stages.
  • Arrow tiles redirect your taps: several colored tiles carry left or right arrows, and a marble that lands on one changes columns. You cannot assume a stack drains straight down into the Box you aimed at.
  • Brown, Orange, and Dark Purple are buried bait: those three colors sit low in almost every stack, but no receiver asks for them in the opening rows. Peel toward them and you park unwanted colors on the belt.
  • The empty crate frame breaks the center column: the gap under the gate means the middle stack feeds in pieces, with dead air between releases. Committing a full column’s worth of marbles to the center at once jams the queue.

Marble Sort Level 362 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Stick to the Boxes that are actually open. Follow the release order.

Opening: bank Yellow and Green

Marble Sort level 362 mid-solve board

  1. Feed the Yellow marbles queued in the funnel into the open Yellow receiver — the machine is handing you a free first Box.
  2. Match the Green stacks against the Green receivers that are open at the start. Greens sit in several columns, so they arrive in usable runs.
  3. Let the Red batches already riding the belt pass through only when a Red slot opens; otherwise leave them cycling — Red’s real Box may be the row behind the current one.
  4. Do not touch the Light Pinks, Dark Pinks, or Blues yet. They cap the middle of the stacks and have no receiver in the opening rows.
  5. Tap the center column only when you can afford a slow release — the ‘3’ gate feeds one count at a time, so give it low-value colors while your front-row Boxes are busy elsewhere.

Midgame: respect the arrows and strip the deep layers

By the middle of the solve the grid has thinned to about five working columns, and the receivers have cycled forward — the Boxes are now asking for Orange, Yellow, Dark Green, and mixed Blue and Purple orders. The center gate has ticked down to ‘1’ and the deep Brown, Orange, and Dark Purple layers are finally coming to the top of their stacks.

  1. Sweep the Orange and Yellow requests the moment they hit the front row — the two colors share the mid-game Boxes, so batch them when they appear together.
  2. Watch the arrow tiles as you work the right-side columns: a tap aimed at one stack can send its marble one column over. Read the arrow before you commit, not after.
  3. Clear the Dark Purple and Dark Blue bottoms of the columns now that their receivers have cycled in — these layers are what the whole opening was hiding.
  4. Finish the center column by feeding the gate its final count. Once the numbered tile clears, the empty crate frame below it is your last obstacle in that stack.
  5. Feed the conveyor in arrival order and only take a marble whose Box is front and center; a full matching batch finishes a Box in one pass.

Cleanup: chase the stragglers

In the final stretch the grid is down to a handful of scattered singles — a few Pinks on the left, a short center remnant with a Dark Blue tile and a crate frame still in it, and a right-side stub of Red, Light Green, Brown, and Cyan — while the funnel keeps cycling Purple and Green toward the partially filled receiver racks below.

  1. Play only to the active front row — every remaining tile is a single waiting for its Box to cycle up.
  2. Clear the last Brown and Dark Green tiles the moment their receivers appear; they have been parked at the bottom of the board since the opening.
  3. Let the funnel and conveyor finish the work. As the final marbles drop, keep the belt cycling and the last Boxes fill on their own.

Level 362 Tips Recap

  • Yellow and Green open the level — feed them first and let the Red belt batches ride until a Red Box actually shows up.
  • The center ‘3’ gate releases in three slow counts; feed it when nothing urgent is on the belt, never as a quick clear.
  • Read every arrow tile before tapping — a marble can land one column over from where you aimed it.
  • Brown, Orange, and Dark Purple are the real endgame: they sit at the bottom of the stacks and only pay off once the mid-game receivers cycle in.
