Marble Sort Level 344 Walkthrough & Solution

Level 344 Board Overview: The Mystery-Capped Grid

Marble Sort level 344 opening board — The Mystery-Capped Grid

Level 344 opens as a Hard board, and the first thing you notice is that you cannot plan the top half of it. A full row of grey ’?’ mystery tiles caps the tray, with one more ’?’ tile buried in the row below — six hidden slots in total that only reveal themselves as the grid above them clears.

The edges of the tray are just as stubborn. Blue lock tiles stamped with numbers run down both the far left and far right sides: two locks per side, reading “2” and “2” on the left and “2” and “1” on the right. Each lock needs as many releases as the number it shows — a “2” tile commits you to two taps, and a lock that has counted down to “0” is spent.

Down the middle, the visible stacks are a genuine mix: Blue, Light Blue, Purple, Red, Yellow, Orange, Green, and Pink. The four receiver Boxes at the end of the line open asking for Blue, Orange, Purple, and Red. The queue below is already loaded — a front run of Red, then heavy White and Green batches, with Blue and Pink riding behind. Nothing about the opening is a straight line: reveal the mystery tiles, work the edge locks, and feed only the colors the open Boxes actually want.

The Trap in Marble Sort Level 344

The board is rigged to make you commit before the receivers rotate. Here is the layout:

  • The whole top of the tray is hidden: a row of ’?’ mystery tiles caps the grid, and another ’?’ hides in the second row. Every early reveal is a gamble, so you cannot plan the upper stacks until you clear into them.
  • Numbered lock tiles frame both edges: the “2” and “1” locks on the left and right sides count down one release at a time. Start a lock when its color has no open Box and the whole edge parks on the belt.
  • The queue opens front-loaded with junk for the open Boxes: Red rides first — useful — but the White and Green batches right behind it have no receiver at the start. Feed them early and the conveyor jams before the first Boxes clear.
  • Only four colors have Boxes at the open: Blue, Orange, Purple, and Red. Yellow, Green, Pink, and Light Blue are scattered through the stacks with nowhere to go until the front row cycles.

Marble Sort Level 344 Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Read the open Boxes before you commit. Follow the release order.

Opening: feed the four open colors

  1. Grab the Red run at the very front of the queue and feed it into the open Red Box — it is the only front-of-queue color with a home at the start.
  2. Clear the visible Blue tiles in the right-hand stacks into the Blue Box, then the Orange tiles along the left into the Orange Box.
  3. Drop the Purple tiles from the middle rows into the Purple Box as their rows come within reach.
  4. Work the edge locks one release at a time. Only start a “2” lock when the color it guards matches an open Box — you are committing to two taps.
  5. Leave the White and Green batches riding the belt. No Box asks for them yet, so every tap is a wasted slot.
  6. Start peeling the ’?’ tiles off the top row. If the reveal matches Blue, Orange, Purple, or Red, drop it; if it is any other color, leave the column and come back.

Midgame: the locks hit zero

By the middle of the solve the tray has thinned and the front row has cycled. The edge locks have taken their hits — the lower tiles now read “0” and are spent, while the survivors still show “1”. The belt has rotated into neat runs of Yellow, Pink, and Light Blue, and the top-row reveals have dropped more mixed colors into the grid.

  1. Feed the queue in its batches: Yellow, Pink, and Light Blue cycle through the belt, so time each batch for the moment its Box slides to the front.
  2. Keep peeling each stack one tile at a time; the Blues, Oranges, and Reds buried beneath the reveals are still your real targets.
  3. Clear the remaining “1” locks in pairs — finishing a lock empties a whole edge column and opens the tray.
  4. Treat every new ’?’ reveal as a decision point: matching Box up front, drop it; otherwise leave it and rotate the queue.
  5. Prioritize stacks that expose two matching tiles in a row — clearing them empties a column and gives the belt breathing room.

Cleanup: drain the stragglers

The closing frame shows the tray nearly stripped down to a few scattered clusters, the edge locks spent, and the receivers still taking the tail of the queue. The level becomes a straight finishing line.

  1. Every remaining tile is a single waiting for its Box to slide to the front — play only to the active front row.
  2. Let the queue cycle: the last Blues, Reds, and Purples feed as their Boxes open. Do not chase colors whose receivers have already closed.
  3. Finish the final Boxes as the stragglers drop and let the tray empty. The level completes the moment the last tile lands.

Level 344 Tips Recap

  • Only feed colors with an open Box: Blue, Orange, Purple, and Red open the level; the White and Green batches at the front of the queue are bait until the receivers rotate.
  • Start a numbered edge lock only when the color behind it is live — a “2” lock commits you to two releases.
  • Reveal before you commit: every upper column starts under a ’?’ mystery tile, so never stack a combo on colors you cannot see.
  • In the endgame the tray is nearly empty; just cycle the belt and feed the last singles into their Boxes.
